
Sandra Rose, CPA, is the founder and owner of Sandra M Rose CPA PLLC in Coleman, Texas. Licensed by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy in 2008, she opened her own practice soon after and has grown it every year since, serving hundreds of business and individual clients with tax preparation, payroll processing, bookkeeping, financial statement preparation and analysis, and consulting services — small town service with the resources and experience of a larger firm. Her firm has experience with corporations, S-Corporations and LLC’s, small businesses, payroll compliance, farming & ranching operations, and non-profits.
Professional Background
Sandra began her career at Davis, Kinard & Co PC in Abilene, where she was a senior accountant with audit and tax responsibilities, serving as in-charge auditor and helping clients design accounting systems and internal controls. She then worked as a staff accountant for Stacy Jameson, CPA before opening her own practice in Coleman.
In addition to her practice, Sandra has served as County Auditor for Callahan County since 2017, where she oversees a county budget of more than $27 million, is responsible for internal audit and control procedures, and supported the county’s first bond issuance since the 1950s.
Education & Credentials
Sandra graduated with honors from Tascosa High School in Amarillo and attended Hardin-Simmons University on an academic scholarship, earning her Bachelor of Business Administration in 1998 with a double major in Accounting and Finance. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed by and in good standing with the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.
Community Involvement
Sandra has two daughters who are the light of her life, Hannah and Natalee who both graduated from Coleman ISD.
Volunteering has been part of her life since she was 13, when she began as a hospital candystriper and volunteer at the Amarillo Public Library. By her teens she had logged more than 1,000 volunteer hours and been named a District Volunteer of the Year for the Texas Department of Human Resources.
In Coleman, Sandra serves as Vice President of the Coleman ISD Board of Trustees, Secretary of the Coleman County Appraisal District Board of Directors, and Treasurer of the Friends of the Coleman Public Library, where she volunteers with the Summer Reading Program. She is a past President of the Coleman Youth Recreation Association and served on the 4-H Youth and Development Committee and the School Health Advisory Council. In 2015 she received the Coleman Chamber of Commerce New Horizon Award.
